About the event

What is Wildcrafrting?

Wildcrafting (also known as foraging) is the practice of harvesting plants from their natural, or 'wild' habitat, primarily for food or medicinal purposes. Our goal is to teach about these practices in a way that is respectful to Mother Earth and in a way that will keep these plants coming back. With so many plants growing and blooming at different times of the year and at different seasons, we wil have more classes throughout the year. Knowledge, awareness, and love is key when wildcrafting. Some things we will discuss on our walk is identifying plants, overharvesting, how to use these plants for food or medicine, and so much more.

Hope you join us for this adventure!
