Healing doesn’t come through force. It comes through safety, patience, and compassion. When the body feels held, the soul can finally exhale.
That softening doesn’t always feel calm at first. Sometimes it feels intense, confusing, or even destabilizing - because what once protected you is finally ready to be released.
It may look like:
Feeling more emotionally reactive than useful, even though you’re doing the work
Shivering or trembling when you start to feel vulnerable or open
Old habits, anxiety, or thought loops resurfacing - not to hurt you, but because you’re ready tome through
Feeling overstimulated more easily by nose, crowds, or busy environments
Wanting quiet, solitude or nature instead of constant stimulation
Feeling pulled towards deeper connection - togged, to prayer, to meaning
Needing more time alone to integrate instead of pushing yourself to socialize
Feeling emotions come up faster, stronger - but also pass more quickly
Sensing that something inside you is knocking, asking to be felt rather than suppressed
That’s not you falling apart. That’s your nervous system saying: This helped me to survive once. I don’t need it to protect me anymore.
Healing isn’t about forcing release. It's about building the vessel that can hold it.
When you slow down, soften toward yourself, and choose support - you are expanding your capacity to receive healing.
