Botanical Healing School
A place to deepen your understanding of plants, the body, and the ways they connect with everyday wellness.

Botanical Healing School is a space for curious minds and lifelong learners.
Here, we explore herbalism, medicine-making, the human body, mindfulness, and the many ways plants and people are connected. My hope is not simply to teach you what to do, but to help you understand the why behind what you’re learning so you can become more confident, curious, and connected in your own practice.
Learn at your own pace. Follow what interests you. Come back to lessons when you need them. There is always more to discover.
School Introduction
I believe learning about herbalism is about more than memorizing a list of plants or following a recipe. It is about becoming curious. It is about understanding the plants we work with, learning how different preparations are made, developing a deeper understanding of the body, and recognizing the connections between what we learn and how we live.
Botanical Healing School brings these pieces together through self-guided courses designed to encourage exploration, understanding, and hands-on learning.
Take your time. Ask questions. Make connections. Let your learning grow with you.

1
Botanical Healing: The Art of Becoming
Where plants become potions, preparations, and a lot of curiosity
Where does herbal medicine begin?
With the plant.
This course explores the journey from plant to preparation, introducing the knowledge and skills involved in working with herbs and creating herbal preparations.
Rather than simply handing you a collection of recipes, Botanical Healing invites you to understand the process behind what you’re making. You’ll explore the plants, preparations, techniques, and considerations that come together when creating your own herbal medicines.
This is a space to learn by doing, build your understanding, and develop a deeper relationship with the plants you’re working with.
Follow the plant. Learn the process. Create your preparation.
2
Botanical Healing: Beneath the surface
Peeling back the layers to discover the botanical body within.
The body is beautifully interconnected.
This course explores the human body through the major body systems while creating space to better understand how herbalism, mindfulness, and whole-person wellness intersect.
Each section offers an opportunity to learn more about the anatomy and physiology of the body while developing a deeper understanding of the systems that keep us moving, breathing, digesting, adapting, and living.
From the cardiovascular and digestive systems to the nervous, respiratory, immune, musculoskeletal, and other body systems, this course encourages you to look at the body as a connected whole rather than a collection of separate parts.
Understand the body. See the connections. Keep learning.

What You'll Discover
Botanical Healing School brings together two different approaches to learning. Botanical Healing ~ Plant to Preparation focuses on the plants themselves and the process of turning them into practical herbal preparations. Botanical Healing for the Body Systems turns our attention toward the human body, exploring anatomy, physiology, and the interconnected systems that make us who we are. Together, they offer two ways of looking at botanical wellness—from the plants we work with to the body we live in.
You don’t need to know everything before you begin, and you don’t need to have a background in herbalism, anatomy, or meditation. You simply need a willingness to learn.
Botanical Healing School is designed for curious people who want to deepen their understanding, explore new ideas, and make meaningful connections between plants, the body, and everyday wellness. Learn at your own pace. Revisit lessons. Take notes. Try something new. Most importantly, stay curious.
The Heart Behind the School
I’m Hollie - the herbalist, teacher, and lifelong student behind Rooted Soul Apothecary. My own path has always been rooted in curiosity. I love learning, making connections, and then turning what I’ve learned into something that can be shared with others. Botanical Healing School grew from that same place.
My goal is to make learning feel approachable while still giving you the opportunity to go deeper—to understand not only what we do, but why. Because I believe teachers are students, too, and there is always more to learn.
