Chamomile Hot Chocolate

Amazing effects on calming down the nervous system settling down the body allowing for easier relaxation and a more restful night of sleep.


2 parts raw cacao

1.5 parts chamomile

1 part peppermint

0.75 part cinnamon

0.35 part star anise

pinch of cayenne per cup (optional)


Hot~ Combine 3/4 cup milk (alternate) and 3/4 cup water in a saucepan. Bring to a low simmer. Pour hot liquid over 1-2 tsp tea. Steep 5-10 minutes. Strain, Add honey or any sugar (alternate).

Cold~ Pour 3/4 cup hot water over 1-2 tsp tea. Steep 5-10 minutes. Strain. Add 1 tsp sweetener of choice. Refrigerate. Once chilled, add 3/4 cup milk (alternate) and a few ice cubes.

*Cacao is a truly sensual herb and when combined with spices it makes a feel good aphrodisiac tea.
